Decorative staining can also be used when polishing a floor. However, a mottled patina look is hard to capture because of the procedures of a polished floor. Stains react best with the creamy surface of a raw concrete floor. With a polished floor the top layer is grinded off to expose and harden the surface to the aggregate layer. |
