Hudson YMCA: Once worn carpets were removed from the YMCA, many challenges were found. Uneven heights in the flooring due to separate foundation floors and random cracks were visible everywhere. To fix and mask the cracks, the structural and random cracks were filled and bonded together. Faux joints were then cut to simulate and ashlar slate pattern. Stains were added to hide additional cracks and to add interest to the polished floor. |
